Kurt Angle offended by Punk’s Nazi Pope comment: TNA star Kurt Angle was offended by CM Punk‘s recent Tweet that called the resigning Pope a Nazi. In response Kurt called Punk “Skinny”. “Cm Punk Should thank GOD that the Pope is a forgiving Man. Because Even the Pope Could Whip Punk’s skinny ass” As reported yesterday CM Punk retweetd somebody’s pun: “@jonodiener: The pope resigned? I did nazi that coming.” Magic. This prompted a bit of a backlash from some of Punk’s followers. One fan Tweeted: “That’s an envelope-pushing tweet for a company employee.” Punk bluntly responded: “Oh piss off. Pope was a nazi.” Angle and Punk have had a few exchanges on Twitter before. _____________________________________________________________ Lockdown won’t all be in the cage: TNA have changed the format for Lockdown, where only the main events will be featured inside the cage. Daniels all but confirmed this during a Q&A with the company’s new online partner Machinima… “I think we may have a probably a lethal lockdown match and maybe perhaps the main event” While this has not been officially announced, the all cage format has been a major point of criticism over the years. _____________________________________________________________ The Rock Tweets Jeff Jarrett after Raw promo: Following his promo on last night’s Raw, The Rock Tweeted Jeff Jarrett… “@JeffJarrettTNA Had to tell a few of our USWA stories tonight on #RAW my friend. From 40 bucks a night to @WWE Champ. #NashvilleDreams” Jarrett repsonded: “Phone blowing up… Twitter blowing up… @TheRock #theRocksays #40bucks” For those that missed Raw it was “story time with the Rock” and he recalled wrestling in Nashville at the Fairgrounds and Car Dealerships for $40 a night when he was Flex Cavanna, in USWA. He named dropped Jarrett who was also part of the company. _____________________________________________________________ JBL happy to see Dutch Mantel in WWE: JBL is excited to see his old friend Dutch Mantel back in WWE, now acting as right wing manager Zeb Coulter for Jack Swagger.
