WWE Raw on Monday, January 28 scored a 3.7, (3.68 to be exact) rating the night after the Royal Rumble PPV, where The Rock captured the WWE Title and John Cena won the Rumble.
The rating was up 21 percent from last week’s Rumble lead-in episode. Other than Raw 1,000 in July 2012, this was the highest Raw rating since the night after WrestleMania 27 in 2011.
Raw drew huge numbers in the key demos of males 18-34 and males 18-49, up six-tenths of a rating compared to last week. Both were the highest since Raw 1,000.
Last night’s edition of RAW starring The Rock’s TV debut as the new WWE Champion, John Cena revealing who he would face at WrestleMania 29, and the return of Brock Lesnar averaged 5,02,000 viewers. This amount of total viewers is the highest for an episode of RAW since last July 23, which was the loaded 1,000th episode of the show.
The 1,000th episode of RAW averaged 6,019,000 viewers.
Hour two was the highlight of the show with an incredible 5,270,000 viewers. Hour one brought in 4,860,000 viewers and hour 3 brought in 4,930,000
