Sent in by George Burr The Miz was on the Opie and Anthony Show this morning to plug the new Marine movie. He mentioned how he was a long time fan of the show and was actually on their show in 2001 when he was on the Real World. Alot of Real World stories at first. Opie mentioned that Miz said he wanted to become a pro wrestler back then and how he(Opie) thought it was a bad career move. Miz went on to mention his days in UPW and wrestling on the indy scene before mentioning he competed in Tough Enough in 2006.They ask who the winner was and the Miz mentions Daniel Puder and Opie expresses how much better Miz is than the actual winner. Miz talked about WWE travel schedule and how he’s on the road all the time. He said its alot rougher now that he’s engaged(but he never mentioned Maryse by name only saying she was a WWE Diva once) Heather(who was on Real World 1 in New York) works for another show on SiriusXM heard she was mentioned on the Opie and Anthony Show and came in the studio to share some Real World stories with The Miz. Jim Norton then asked about the Marine movie. When Miz described the premise Anthony joked it sounded like Rambo. Miz talked alittle more about the movie regarding the filming and even saying the best moment of that was that he slept in the same bed for 20 days straight and it was alot different that living out of hotel rooms since the WWE travels so much. Plugs for the Marine movie and Miz’s twitter. Miz plugs Wrestlemania 29 in North Jersey(NY for some people). Opie and Anthony put over Miz and his new movie then Miz puts over Opie and Anthony and his love of the show as the show closes out for Wednesday.
