The following results are from a recent Ring Of Honor TV Taping. The taping took place on April 6th, 2013 at the Manhattan Center in New York City, New York and will air on April 13th, April 20th, April 27th and May 4th. Check your local listings for when Ring of Honor Wrestling airs in your area. TAPING ONE (AIRING APRIL 13TH) In Ring Segment Nigel McGuinness came out to open the show and had the Ring of Honor roster come to the ring. Nigel said that this is the dawn of a new era and that honor has been restored in the company and that honor lives and said that the man that restored honor in Ring of Honor is the new ROH World Champion Jay Briscoe, who makes his way to the ring. Jay Briscoe puts over the fans and says that he has always been proud of being part of the greatest professional wrestling company in the world and is even prouder to stand in the ring as their World Champion and says that the SCUM takeover isn’t happening anytime soon as he will be holding on to the title for a long time. Adam Cole interrupted and said that he is the future of professional wrestling and while he would like to congratulate Jay on his World Championship victory, he will end Briscoe’s reign at the ROH Border Wars event in Toronto and then departs the ring. Singles Match Bobby Fish defeated Eddie Edwards. Tag Team Match QT Marshall & Brutal Bob Evans defeated Alabama Attitude (Mike Posey & Corey Hollis). 5-Way Scramble To Determine #1 Contender To The ROH TV Championship Mark Briscoe defeated Caprice Coleman, BJ Whitmer, Mike Mondo and Cedric Alexander. TAPING TWO (AIRING APRIL 20TH) In Ring Segment Kevin Steen came out to open the second taping, followed by Steve Corino and the rest of S.C.U.M. Steen says that Matt Hardy is the weak link of the group and that Matt Hardy is the only member that he doesn’t want to be a part of the group. All members nod their heads and agree, leading Steen to believe that they’re agreeing with him, however S.C.U.M attack Steen and then raise him up for Hardy to hit a Twist of Fate on the former ROH World Champion. Singles Match Roderick Strong defeated Mike Bennett. Mike Mondo was on commentary for the match and post-match attacked Storm. Singles Match Jorge Santi vs. Tadarius Thomas was declared a no contest due to interference from S.C.U.M. Steve Corino got on the mic and said that the fans have seen the last of Kevin Steen, however before he can continue any further, Nigel McGuinness comes out, followed by Jay Lethal and Michael Elgin to attempt and get rid of S.C.U.M. Nigel announces that Elgin and Lethal will team up to face 2 members of S.C.U.M and that if S.C.U.M. win, then Matt Hardy will get a ROH World Championship opportunity. Corino gets on the mic and says that if S.C.U.M get that opportunity at the World Championship and fail, then they will leave Ring of Honor, which Nigel agrees to. ROH TV Championship Match Matt Taven (c) defeated ACH. Mark Briscoe was on commentary for the match. TAPING THREE (Airing April 27th) 6 Man Tag Team Match S.C.U.M. (Jimmy Jacobs, Cliff Compton & Rhett Titus) defeated BJ Whitmer, Caprice Coleman & Cedric Alexander. Post-match, Jay Lethal and Michael Elgin ran out to make the save. Jay Lethal said that he is disappointed by Rhett Titus and didn’t expect Rhett to be one of those to turn his back on Ring of Honor and challenged him to a match right now, which he accepts. Singles Match Jay Lethal defeated Rhett Titus. In Ring Segment The stage is set for the Adam Cole vs. Jay Briscoe contract signing for their match at the ROH Border Wars PPV, however S.C.U.M. (Matt Hardy & Rhino) come out and interrupt, which leads to a tag team match. Tag Team Match Adam Cole & Jay Briscoe defeated S.C.U.M. (Matt Hardy & Rhino). Adam Cole and Jay Briscoe had a staredown to end the show. TAPING FOUR (AIRING MAY 4TH) Singles Match Karl Anderson defeated Michael Elgin. Singles Match MsChif defeated ??? via disqualification due to interference from Veda Scott. Singles Match Davey Richards defeated Kyle O’Reilly.
