Found August 07, 2012 on Wrestlechat.net:

Brian Heffron (The Blue Meanie) has taken to his Facebook page to shine some more light on the recent allegations against “Wrestler’s Rescue”.  Heffron brought up Jerry Lynn on the same day that reports came out that Wrestlers Rescue never sent money to Kamala.

According to Dawn, Kamala was indeed sent money, but Kamala returned it “because it took too long” for him to receive it.  Heffron claimed that he, and other wrestlers, donated stuff to Wrestlers Rescue that was supposed to go towards Jerry Lynn’s back surgery.  Unfortunately, according to Heffron via Lynn, Lynn never saw a cent of it.  Here’s what Heffron stated on Facebook:

“I just off the phone with Jerry Lynn @ 7:50 and he said the besides Cauliflower Alley Club that indy promotions in Denver, Amarillo and Tennessee donated money to help him with his bills. Not ONE dime came from Wrestlers Rescue.  The Only thing Wrestlers Rescue gave him was a phone # to call Karl Lauer at C.A.C. He was also told by her that she couldn’t collect $ for him because of the #SmearCampaign that Vinny the Guido rallied against her. Yet she STILL collected items. Not once did Michael Porter’s name come out of her mouth to Jerry as far as the #SmearCampaign . So yea. Everything I said was confirmed. Wrestlers Rescue donated not one dime to Jerry Lynn yet collected for him anyway.”

What Meanie is saying – Jerry Lynn confirmed to him that Wrestlers Rescue never gave him anything, but still collected donations and items to be auctioned off on his behalf.  Those profits were never given to Lynn to help with his back surgery.

Just a few hours ago on Twitter, Dawn Marie commented on Jerry Lynn’s situation.  Her tweet hints at a different story than Heffron’s.  Her tweet:

“Spoke with Jerry Lynn last night. He will be setting the record straight this week.”

So both parties say they’ve spoken with Jerry Lynn and both parties are claiming a different story from Lynn.

We’ll have more on this as it develops.

Kamala vs. Dawn Marie’s Wrestlers Rescue heats up

The public war of words between Kamala and Dawn Marie over Wrestlers Rescue doesn’t surprise me. Pro wrestling has always been built on fooling the public for profit so the idea that anything charitable in this business would come without controversy is expected.
