The decline of Adrien Broner has continued after he was removed from a podcast for inappropriate remarks.
During an appearance on ‘It Is What It Is in Las Vegas’, Broner began making comments towards co-hosts Treasure Wilson and Arabia Tillery. Despite warnings, Broner continued even when Wilson’s boyfriend was there. It all came to a head when host Cam’ron calmly intervened, telling Broner that the segment was over and that he was being escorted from the studio. He even offered to pay Broner for his time.
“If that’s Arabia, I, Saudi,” Broner told Tillery
“I did not know you looked that good in person,” Broner told Wilson
“Thank you?” ’cause why does everybody tell me that? I don’t know how to take that,” Wilson
“Alright, hey, we’re gonna have to ask you to go, my n—-. I asked you the first time. I don’t have no problems with you, but I’mma pay you for your time. But you can’t violate, bro. I told you that,”
This comes after Broner admitted he was broke, pleading with Don King for another fight. At 36 years old, Broner’s professional record has been on a decline, losing three of his last five fights since 2017. His last two fights were against Bill Hutchinson and Blair Cobbs, and he lost to the latter.
As a four-division champion, he was once seen as the heir apparent to Floyd Mayweather Jr. However, his antics outside the ring, which have included multiple legal issues, arrests, and public spats, have consistently derailed his progress.
