A third fight between Dmitry Bivol and Artur Beterbiev is being targeted for April 2027 in Russia, aiming to settle a rivalry currently tied 1-1.

Beterbiev won their first meeting by majority decision in October 2024 to claim undisputed status, before Bivol reversed the result in their February 2025 rematch. Beterbiev hasn't fought since that loss and will be 42 by the proposed trilogy date, six years older than Bivol.

Bivol returned in May with a decision win over Michael Eifert and is next set to defend his WBO title against interim champion Callum Smith in a mandated bout scheduled for December.
