Blinders And Brawls Event Postponed

Misfits Boxing went ahead to post on its X account that the Blinders and Brawls event has been postponed due to scheduling issues and will now take place on May 16.

“Due to scheduling issues, Misfits Boxing Blinders and Brawls, will now take place on Friday, May 16. The event will still take place at Valliant Live, Derby.

“Purchased tickets remain valid for the new date but any ticket holders wanting a refund, please contact your point of purchase,” posted Misfits Boxing.

This was not received well by some of the participants as they have been working on the build-up to this event and the fact that some of them got to know about this from a social media post was even more infuriating.

Jully Poca, who is set to face Amanda Serrano on the said card, did not shy away to make her feelings on these developments known by going ahead to reply to the X post.

“This exact moment I’m doing cardio, with to much clothes, and totally weakling, and starving, because I’m going down in weight... I hope that is a joke,” posted Jully Poca.

To answer this, Mams Taylor, Misfits promoter, went on to post on X to explain what has led to the situation.

“Not been a fun few weeks. A series of unfortunate events beyond our control. Tried to replace the main event and even tried to do a non ppv to keep the show on. Exhausted all efforts and left no stone unturned. Sorry we were not able to say anything until now but refunds will of course be available for Manchester next week.

“We will be back on May 16^th Derby and the new final fight card will be announced shortly with mega additions. The comeback will be everything, and big changes will be implemented. To the ones who have been nothing but loyal, supportive and understanding, fighters and fans, I see you and appreciate you beyond measure. Thank you.

“Alot of news coming so stay tuned,” posted Mams Taylor.
