Fundora Makes Tszyu Quit On The Stool
Andy Abeyta/The Desert Sun / USA TODAY NETWORK

Sebastian Fundora stopped Tim Tszyu after the seventh round to retain his WBC junior middleweight title, as you can see how the fight played out.

Fundora returned as the defending WBC champion, having scored a fourth-round TKO over Chordale Booker in his last outing. The southpaw also edged out Tszyu in their first meeting via a split decision, but the win came with controversy.

Tszyu suffered a deep cut over his hairline in the second round from an accidental elbow, which he said blurred his vision and affected his performance. Fundora dismissed those claims as excuses, fueling the fire for the rematch.

Since that fight, Tszyu suffered another setback — a stoppage loss to IBF champ Bakhram Murtazaliev. But the Aussie bounced back strong with a convincing win over Joseph Spencer, regaining momentum heading into the rematch. And yet, he came up short once again at the hands of Fundora. Here is how the fight played out.
