It Is A Reunion For Chris Eubank Jr. With His Dad During His Fight With Conor Benn

Chris Eubank Sr. was seen on Saturday night walking side-by-side with his son before his clash against Conor Benn despite their public family grudge.

The pair entered the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium together arm-in-arm in a shocking gesture that they have ultimately buried their differences.

“It was special,” said Eubank Jr. of his father’s return. “He needed to be here. All of this is because of what he did – and we did it again. I’m happy to have this man with me.

Former world titlist Eubank Sr. had termed his son 'disgusting' for accepting the bout with Benn.

Until yesterday, Eubank Sr had not featured in his son's corner since 2019 after he chose to go his way, a move that significantly disenchanted the boxing icon.

'My old man was always next to me, and it got to a stage where I decided that I needed to walk my path,' said Eubank Jr. earlier this year.

'He was not happy with that decision. That's the start of it.'

Elsewhere, Eubank Jr obtained a unanimous decision win in Saturday night’s exhilarating though brutal key episode, which went the distance. The fight further lived up to the substantial hype. Chris scored 116-112 on the three judges' scorecards.

"I've upheld the family name like we said we were going to, so it's onwards and upwards,” said Chris Eubank Jr.
