Jake Paul is hoping to settle two big questions in one night this November.

Paul has had a lot of criticism over his choice of opponents, often facing older fighters or those without much experience.

Now, ‘The Problem Child’ is looking to prove he is the real deal by taking on Gervonta Davis, the current WBA lightweight champion, in an exhibition match.

Paul will hav e a clear size advantage over his 5ft 5in, 135lb opponent – but he is making sure everyone knows it is all due to his natural build.

Jake Paul released a YouTube video on Friday in which he addressed his upcoming fight with Gervonta Davis.

The 28-year-old star, who weighed in at 227lbs for his bout against Mike Tyson last November, wants to put an end to speculation about allegedly using steroids.

To address those concerns, he has agreed to full testing by the US Anti-Doping Agency throughout his training camp.

“Don’t worry. For all of you Karens who accuse me of being on steroids as the reason for winning all of my fights, we have the strictest drug testing possible for this fight.

“US Anti-Doping Agency. Random drug tests at any moment.”

What are the rules for Jake Paul vs. Gervonta Davis?

Long before it was official, Jake Paul had already given fans a preview of the unusual rules that would shape his fight with Gervonta Davis.

Back in May, he appeared on The Ariel Helwani Show and explained why the bout had not been finalised just yet.

“I mean, that was on the one-yard line as well, but he has to rematch Lamont Roach. He wants to get that back, and then we’ll be back in discussions with Mr Gervonta,” Paul said at the time.

“This is the nature of boxing. You have massive fights on the one-yard line, and they just fall through.”

When pressed about specifics like weight class and format, Paul shared more details.

“195 [lbs]. It would be an exhibition, 10 three-minute rounds. No restrictions, just the fact we couldn’t actually get it professionally sanctioned.”
