Jake Paul’s already bruised boxing career has taken another hit after his first-ever knockout loss.
The YouTuber-turned-fighter had his jaw broken in two places during a sixth-round stoppage by Anthony Joshua last month.
Not long after, the WBA removed him from his top 15 cruiserweight rankings, a move that sparked plenty of debate over whether he should have been there in the first place.
Now, the 28-year-old faces an indefinite spell away from the ring.
The Florida Athletic Commission has handed out several medical suspensions following the boxing event in Miami on December 19.
According to a report from MMA Fighting, ‘The Problem Child’ received an indefinite suspension due to a double broken jaw suffered in his fight against Joshua.
He will not be allowed to return until he is cleared by a doctor and his jaw is fully healed.
Tyron Woodley was also given a medical suspension, this one lasting 30 days after he was knocked out by Anderson Silva within two rounds.

Paul has plenty to deal with before returning to the ring, but he is not shying away from looking ahead.
On Christmas Eve, he dropped a hint about his future plans, mentioning a potential bout against a former UFC heavyweight champion.
Paul made the remarks on his brother Logan’s podcast: “I told everyone that I would do better than Francis and that Francis got no chin.
“Francis low-key soft… I’ll fight Francis, wow, that’s a good idea actually.
“I think maybe now he’ll take it.”
