Jake Paul Signs Yokasta Valle

Yokasta Valle, the WBC minimumweight champion, is the latest female fighter to join the ranks of Jake Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions.

Paul has now become one of the leading promoters for female boxers. His current stable includes the likes of Amanda Serrano, Alycia Baumgardner, Chantelle Cameron and Savannah Marshall. Valle is another world championship level fighter, a three-division champion in fact, who is looking to elevate her name.

Valle’s Career

Valle has secured belts at  102, 105, and 108 pounds. She missed out on becoming undisputed at minimumweight after losing to Seniesa Estrada last year. However, following Estrada’s retirement, she overcame Elizabeth Lopez Corzo to secure the vacant WBC belt. Valle also jumped up two weight classes, beating Marlen Esparza in her last bout.

For Valle, it represents a significant step up in exposure and potential earnings. She has already achieved considerable success, but much of it has been on a smaller stage. Jake Paul has a massive social media following, and his promotional company has a proven track record of generating significant buzz for its fighters. By joining MVP, Valle can expect to be featured on larger platforms and fight cards. Valle is not yet a household name in the way that other MVP fighters like Amanda Serrano and Alycia Baumgardner have become.

This partnership is also highly significant for the state of women’s boxing as a whole. By signing a fighter from a lighter weight class, Paul is demonstrating a commitment to showcasing talent across all divisions, not just the more popular ones. This is a crucial distinction, as lower-weight classes in women’s boxing have historically struggled to get the same level of attention and pay as their heavier counterparts.

Finally, the signing of Valle highlights the changing dynamics of boxing promotion. The fact that a multi-division champion like Yokasta Valle chose to sign with a relatively new promotion like MVP, rather than an established legacy promoter, speaks volumes about the value that fighters see in Paul’s approach.

Reaction

“Today marks a new chapter in my career, and I couldn’t be more excited to announce that I’m joining Most Valuable Promotions. This signing is not just a step for me—it’s a step forward for all of Latin American women’s boxing, proving that our stories, our talent, and our passion deserve to be on the biggest stages,” Valle said

“Yokasta Valle is a trailblazer and one of the most accomplished and respected champions in boxing, and she’s just getting started. As a three-division champion and one of the best pound-for-pound fighters in the world, she has created generational impact and inspired young girls across Central America. Now at MVP, her story will continue to transcend geographical barriers and resonate with fans around the world.

“It is an honor to welcome Yokasta to MVP and to now represent both her and her sister Naomy as we continue our shared mission to elevate women’s boxing globally. The Serrano sisters set a high bar and now the Valle sisters are going to continue the legacy of sisters that reign supreme in boxing,” Jake Paul and Nakisa Bidarian
