On Saturday, October 25, at The O2 Arena in London, Joseph Parker vs Fabio Wardley headlines a Queensberry Promotions card, live on DAZN Pay-Per-View.
Parker (36-3, 24 KOs) is the WBO mandatory and first in line to challenge Oleksandr Usyk for the undisputed heavyweight title. Should Wardley (19-0-1, 18 KOs) win, he will become the WBO mandatory. Ahead of this all-or-nothing heavyweight showdown, Tony Bellew has spoken to Football Blog, revealing his pick.
Looking ahead to Joseph Parker vs Fabio Wardley, Bellew explained the qualities of both fighters before making his pick:
“I know Fabio and Joe and am very fond of both guys, but I think Joseph Parker will be too much on the night. Don’t get me wrong, I did say before, of course, Fabio has a punchers chance, but believe you me, he won’t be winning at any stage in that fight, he’ll be losing round after round, because Parker just knows that little bit too much and is that little bit too savvy, in my opinion and I think it’ll be a points victory, possibly even at late stoppage to Joseph Parker, because he punches harder than people think.”
