Boxing legend Manny Pacquiao has confirmed the date and host city for his next fight.

The former eight-weight world champion ended his four-year retirement to make a comeback earlier this year.

Manny Pacquiao fought Mario Barrios in July. The 46-year-old’s return to the ring was marred by controversy when the judges scored his WBC welterweight title bout a majority draw.

Ahead of his 47th birthday in December, the Filipino icon has revealed when he will fight next.

When is Manny Pacquiao’s next fight?

On Tuesday, Manny Pacquiao took to social media to provide an update on his next fight.

This news comes just days after it was revealed his original return date had been snatched by the man who almost beat Gervonta Davis in May, Lamont Roach Jr, who will fight Isaac Cruz on a December 6 pay-per-view card.

“Hello to all my boxing fans,” Pacquiao said.

“I’m excited to let you know I will be returning to the ring on January 24 in Las Vegas.

“It is going to be an exciting and special event.

“Stay tuned. More news to come on my opponent in the next few days.”

Manny Pacquiao’s potential opponents

In 2026, Manny Pacquiao hopes to break a boxing record he set by winning a welterweight world title seven years ago.

According to his advisor Sean Gibbons, Pacquiao wants to face WBA welterweight champion Rolly Romero and win back the belt he claimed by beating Keith Thurman to become the oldest 147lb champion of all time in 2019.

“The goal is still the same,” Gibbons told World Boxing News.

“The goal remains to break his own record, to make history, to win a welterweight title.

“He wants to be the oldest person to do it at 47 years old. Rolly Romero has the WBA belt, so he is the target.”

Romero is the frontrunner to face Pacquiao next, but that fight isn’t signed yet, and two potential alternatives have been named.

Boxing reporter Mike Coppinger claims that even though Conor Benn and Gervonta Davis both have big fights booked for November, they are being considered as potential options for Pacquiao’s next outing.
