Sam Towns having career year for BGSU men’s basketball after overcoming injury setback

BOWLING GREEN — Sam Towns has been a pivotal player for the Bowling Green State University men’s basketball team. After playing just six games last season because of injury, the four-year Falcon is now having a career season.

Game recap: Big second half powers BGSU men's basketball past Niagara

BOWLING GREEN — Marcus Johnson, Sam Towns, and Derrick Butler combined to score 40 of Bowling Green State University’s 43 points in the second half as the Falcons used a 12-point advantage in the final 20 minutes to knock off Niagara 76-68 in a men’s basketball game Tuesday at the Stroh Center.
