Juju Watkins might be in rehabilitation and away from the basketball court, but that doesn't keep her far from the trolls. The USC basketball star was left with a humorous note when a delivery driver trolled her with a comic message.
The UPS driver, seemingly partial to the Oregon Ducks, penned, “Sorry, JuJu... GO DUCKS!”
Meanwhile, the 19-year-old guard posted the hilarious notice on her Instagram account. She wrote, “@ups we have beef.” Watkins is currently recovering from a knee injury. The USC Trojans guard went down with a season-ending injury during the NCAA Tournament against Mississippi State in March. Later, it was reported by ESPN that she had torn her ACL and surgery was needed.
Watkins, who attended Sierra Canyon High School, averaged 23.9 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 3.4 assists in the 2024-25 season before she was forced out with a serious injury. The 6-2 ft tall player registered 920 points, which was an all-time national record for scoring by a freshman, as per her roster on the Trojans website. Watkins recorded 30 or more points in 14 games, which was a USC record in both male and female players.
Watkins’ injury brought the Trojans’ stunning season to an abrupt end. The Trojans were having their best season in 41 years. Despite her injury, she led the Trojans to a 31-4 record and a 17-1 Big Ten conference mark.
She was named the women's 2025 Naismith National Player of the Year. Additionally, she also clinched the Big Ten Player of the Year and unanimous first-team All-American honors.
