Alabama transfer wide receiver Kobe Prentice has committed to another Power Four school.

Prentice announced on Tuesday that he has committed to Baylor and will be in the Big 12. Prentice entered the portal last week when it officially opened but had plans to enter before the end of the regular season.

Prentice played in 10 games for Alabama this season, finishing with 10 receptions for 129 yards and a touchdown. He has played in 33 games for Alabama, totaling 60 receptions for 780 yards and five touchdowns.

He joins a Baylor program that went 8-4 during the regular season and will play LSU in the Texas Bowl on December 31. Prentice is a four-star recruit in the 2022 recruiting class and was the fifth-best player in his home state (Alabama), per 247Sports composite rankings. He was also the No. 78 overall recruit in the country, regardless of position.

It was an up-and-down season for Alabama this year in Kalen DeBoer's first year as head coach. The program narrowly missed out on a berth in the College Football Playoff and finished the regular season with a 9-3 record.

The two losses to Oklahoma and Vanderbilt, who both finished 6-6, were crushing. Alabama was the first team out of the CFP after SMU came back from multiple scores down against Clemson in the ACC Championship Game only to lose on a long field goal as time expired.

Still, the Crimson Tide have one more game to play before they fully go into offseason mode. They will play the 7-5 Michigan Wolverines in the ReliaQuest Bowl on December 31.

The Wolverines are coming off their fourth-straight win over the Ohio State Buckeyes and their second in a row in Columbus.

It should be a great game and it'll get going at Noon ET on ESPN.
