Sacramento State finished 8-5 (4-4 Big Sky) in Andy Thompson's first year as head coach. The Hornets made a run to the second round of the FCS Playoffs, defeating North Dakota in the first round.
Sacramento State's 2024 schedule features two FBS matchups, two FCS out-of-conference games, and eight Big Sky conference matchups. The Hornets will have a difficult road schedule to start the season with four road games in their first five games.
