Clemson dismissed freshman running back Marquise Henderson from the program on Thursday.

"We wish him the best as he moves forward," a team spokesperson said. No reason was provided.

The 5-foot-10, 170-pound Henderson was a four-star recruit in the Tigers' 2025 recruiting class out of Honea Path, S.C.

The 247 Sports composite ranked him as the No. 14 running back and No. 183 overall prospect in the class.

Henderson gained nearly 8,000 all-purpose yards at Belton-Honea Path High School, about 45 minutes from the Clemson campus.

Henderson, 18, enrolled early at Clemson in January and battled a hamstring injury during spring practices.
