College football analysts are already predicting that Oregon quarterback Dante Moore will take the Ducks' offense "to another level" in 2025.

On Wednesday, 247Sports' National Recruiting Editor Brandon Huffman joined John Canzano on Canzano's radio show, discussing the future outlook of the Oregon football team.

In particular, Huffman praised Moore, comparing his skill-set to the Ducks' previous starter and Heisman finalist Dillon Gabriel. Ultimately, Huffman came to the conclusion that Moore will upgrade the Oregon offense next fall.

"The pressure wasn't on him to be the guy (this year). That kind of allowed him to step back, and I think he's more than ready," Huffman said. "He's a more talented passer and really a better athlete than Dillon Gabriel, and I think that he's going to take that offense to another level."

It will be difficult to do so. The Ducks scored 36.9 points per game in 2024, while Gabriel tallied 4,006 total yards of offense and 37 total touchdowns, earning a trip to New York as a Heisman finalist.

Meanwhile, Oregon went 13-0 in the regular season, recording just the second 13-win season in program history.

If Moore is able to one-up the Ducks' offense in 2025, Big Ten beware.

"There was never any real interest in going after a portal quarterback at Oregon," Huffman said. "Because they were so high on what Dante Moore could be."

In 2023, Moore started six games for Chip Kelly's UCLA Bruins, throwing for 1,610 yards, 11 touchdowns and nine interceptions. While backing up Gabriel in 2024, he managed just seven completions for 49 yards.

In order for Huffman's prediction to come to fruition, Moore will need to make a massive jump in terms of production next fall.

Duck fans will get an early look at Moore during the 2025 Oregon Spring Game. While the game's official date has yet to be announced, it has historically been played in late April.
