It was a good season for the Florida Gators under head coach Billy Napier, going 8-5, marking their first winning season since 2020 and defeating the Tulane Green Wave 33-8 in the Gasparilla Bowl.
Of course, though, there's always room for improvement, and Napier has ensured that Florida has been one team that is extremely active when it comes to enticing high-level recruits.
Their 2025 recruiting class is especially strong, with On3 ranking it No. 7 among SEC teams and No. 10 in the nation.
Despite most players having already committed this late in the cycle, the Gators made another addition on Monday in the form of cornerback Ja'Vari Flowers from Miami.

This is huge news for Florida, as On3 industry rankings currently place Flowers as a four-star recruit, the No. 18 player in Florida, the No. 16 cornerback and the No. 120 player in the nation.
Napier and the Gators certainly fought for his commitment as well, as he had a number of impressive schools to choose from, including Miami, Georgia, Notre Dame, Auburn, North Carolina, and Tennessee, all making him offers.
Flowers now joins a strong recruiting class for Florida, which includes names like five-star wide receiver Vernell Brown III, four-star cornerback Ben Hanks III, four-star safety Hylton Stubbs and four-star EDGE Jayden Woods.
