The Miami Hurricanes extended their leads in the Week 10 Associated Press Top 25 and AFCA Coaches polls released on Sunday.
Miami remained first in both polls but fell short of being a unanimous selection, despite second-ranked Ohio State losing at USC on Saturday.
Miami received 1,740 points and 62 first-place votes in the Week 10 AP Top 25. Georgia is second with 1,648 points and seven first-place votes. Utah received the other first-place vote in the Week 10 AP Top 25. The Utes moved up three spots to third in the AP Top 25 this week.
Miami received 68 first-place votes and 1,818 points in the AFCA Coaches Poll. Georgia had 1,719 points and four first-place votes in the AFCA Coaches Poll. Kentucky, seventh in the AFCA Coaches Poll, received the other first-place vote. UCLA moved up to fifth in the AFCA Coaches Poll, but lost its first-place vote from Week 9.
Notre Dame, which hosts Miami on Saturday, moved up to fourth in the AP Top 25 with 1,476 points and remained sixth in the AFCA Coaches Poll with 1,498 points. Miami being first at fourth-ranked Notre Dame is reminiscent of the epic 1988 game in South Bend when the teams were ranked in the exact same spots.

Miami has slowly increased its lead in the rankings since ascending to No. 1 on Oct. 18. The Hurricanes had 1,735 points and 59 first-place votes last week in the AP Top 25. Ohio State was second in the Week 9 AP Top 25 with 1,681 points.
The AP Top 25 and AFCA Coaches Polls will merely be a guide, with the College Football Playoff rankings being released on Tuesday. Miami should be first in the inaugural 2026 CFP rankings. Georgia's only loss was to Auburn at home. Miami, UCLA and Utah are the only undefeated teams.
