Bill Belichick and the North Carolina football team have been the center of attention for months. Ever since coach Belichick officially announced his return to the sidelines last December, Week 1's matchup between UNC and TCU has been circled on calendars all across the globe.
After spending 29 years as a head coach in the NFL, leading the New England Patriots to six Super Bowl championships, the 73-year-old decided he’d try his hand at coaching college kids. After a one-year hiatus from coaching, Belichick made the decision to become the head football coach at the University of North Carolina.
Along with his return, a swarm of media attention has followed. Belichick has done his best to embrace it, even announcing a documentary season that's set to be released on Hulu that will follow his new team around all season long. Belichick and the North Carolina football program officially announced the documentary series on August 24 on social media.
Well, after TCU's 48-14 beatdown of UNC, they pulled out a receipt their social media evidently kept and had at the ready once the game-clock hit triple zeros.
TCU football's social media account, @TCUFootball, retweeted @UNCFootball's social media announcement of the documentary from August 24, with a straightforward question, "when does episode one come out?"
After demolishing the Tar Heels, dominating every facet of Monday night's football game, @TCUFootball took their social media trolling to another level.

Approximately three hours after the savage tweet hit X, it had been viewed nearly 300,000 times. And the comments are nearly as savage as the retweet itself, including former NFL quarterback, Robert Griffin III's. Griffin III's comment is simply a switch labeled "violence", and it has been flipped on.

Monday night clearly did not go as planned for Belichick and the Tar Heels, and TCU is not letting them down easy. TCU's defense also injured the Tar Heels' starting QB, Gio Lopez, during the game. Lopez was forced to exit, and was unable return, after a heavy hit in the third quarter.
While the scoreboard, and the team's social media accounts, ended in a lopsided affair, the Horned Frogs are 1-0, and the Tar Heels are 0-1. The Tar Heels, however, set an unfortunate form of history in the process. The 48 points they gave up are the most their program has ever given up in a season-opener.
