The Utah Utes have lost quite a few members of their secondary whether it be to the transfer portal or the NFL Draft.
In fact, they have lost both safeties Sione Vaki and Cole Bishop to the NFL, corner Miles Battle to the NFL, and starting corner JaTravis Broughton is in the portal. They are returning some promising youngsters, and targeted the secondary in both recruiting and the transfer portal already, and on Tuesday we learned they have a new portal target.
Former Michigan defensive back Cameron Calhoun took to Twitter to announce that he had received an offer from Utah.
The former four-star recruit made a couple of appearances for the Wolverines, but didn't register a stat. The Cincinnati native held around 30 offers as a member of the 2023 class, and chose Michigan over programs like Cincinnati, Kentucky, and West Virginia.
He would be a promising depth piece who can work his way into the starting rotation.
