CU Buffs kicker Alejandro Mata honored by Big 12

Alejandro Mata seems to have found a groove in recent weeks and on Monday he was rewarded for his most recent performance. Colorado’s junior kicker was named the Big 12 special teams player of the week after hitting both of his field goal attempts and all four extra points in a 34-7 win at Arizona on Saturday.
