Phil Picciotti gave it a go with the Sooners. But the second-year linebacker never could get healthy, and never could crack the rotation at Oklahoma. So Picciotti will start over, he announced on Monday, at Central Florida.
The Oklahoma Sooners had one of the best defenses in the country last year. However, because of how bad the offense was, how many bad situations they were put in, and a whole lot of other things out of their control, the unit oftentimes looked like an average one.
Oklahoma’s defense is reportedly losing a young linebacker. Redshirt freshman Phil Picciotti announced on Thursday that he is entering the transfer portal with three years of eligibility remaining.
