As the Oregon State Beavers continue fall camp, redshirt senior linebacker Raesjon Davis is expected to be one of the leaders of the defense after transferring from USC this past winter.
Linebackers need to be the Swiss Army knives of the defensive unit. Big enough to attack ball carriers, agile enough to drop into coverage, fast enough to create havoc in the backfield, and smart enough to set up the coverage packages and blitz schemes on the fly.
The hits keep coming for the USC Trojans' as senior linebacker Raesjon Davis announced his intention to enter the transfer portal on Friday. After spending four seasons with the Trojans, Davis will be entering the portal with one year of eligibility remaining.
