Even though they lost Travis Head early in the first over, the 2016 champions steadied their innings thanks to Abhishek Sharma and Ishan Kishan. The duo scored 57 and 74 runs, respectively, ensuring that the required run-rate was never a concern for the visitors. Nitish Kumar Reddy capped off the innings with a quickfire 36 not out at a strike rate of 200.
