Veteran Indian batter Rohit Sharma was seen with his wife, Ritika Sajdeh, at Mumbai airport as the couple departed for a vacation. Their trip comes shortly after the Mumbai Indians’ disappointing IPL 2026 campaign, which saw the five-time champions finish ninth in the standings with only four victories in 14 matches under captain Hardik Pandya, missing out on a place in the top four.

Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma’s IPL 2026 campaign was hampered by injury, as a hamstring problem forced him to miss five matches. Despite the setback, the opener amassed 283 runs in nine games, averaging 35.37 at a strike rate of 157.22. His season included two half-centuries, with a top score of 84.
Over the course of his IPL career, Rohit stands as the tournament’s second-highest run-scorer, having accumulated 7,329 runs in 276 innings at an average of 29.91 and a strike rate of 132.91. The seasoned batter has notched up 49 fifties and two hundreds, with an unbeaten 109 remaining his highest IPL score.
Rohit Sharma is expected to return to the field during India’s upcoming three-match ODI series against Afghanistan, which begins on June 13 in Dharamsala. The second and third matches are scheduled to be held in Lucknow on June 17 and Chennai on June 20, respectively.
The veteran opener has played 282 One-Day Internationals for India, scoring 11,577 runs at an impressive average of 48.84 and a strike rate of 92.74. His ODI record includes 61 half-centuries and 33 hundreds.
