WDF World Champion Shane McGuirk and John O'Shea on course for Finals Night at MODUS Super Series

Shane McGuirk and John O'Shea made a fine start to the first matches in Group B during the international pairing week in the MODUS Super Series.

The Irish duo get a second chance in Group A after losing to Scotland earlier this week. From Group B, however, three teams will advance to the final night, which takes place on Saturday.

They lead the group with six points. The Dutch who sit on their tail then also surprisingly lost to Kenyan duo Peter Wachuiri and Manpreet Kalsi, but recovered with wins over Welsh duo Richie Burnett/Kurt Parry and Germans Marcel Althaus and David Schlichting.

With four points, the Dutch have as many points as the German and Welsh teams, but their leg difference is a lot better. So after four of the eight matches, they are on course to qualify for the final night alongside the Irish duo.
