Broadway has long been regarded as a place where the most gifted actors, singers, and dancers have showcased their talent. With its mix of plays and musicals, the Broadway stage represents the pinnacle of live performance, often culminating in the industry's highest honor: the Tony Awards. 

While some performers have used Broadway as a launchpad for their careers, others have used it as another chapter in their entertainment endeavors. From rising talents to household names, here's a look back at some of the biggest acts who've made their way to the Broadway stage.

However, in addition to his films achieving blockbuster success, Washington continues to demonstrate his appreciation for and elevation in craft on the stage. He’s performed in Broadway plays such as Julius Caesar, A Raisin in the Sun, Fences, and Othello.
