'The Pursuit of Happyness' (2006)
Columbia Pictures, Escape Artists, Overbrook Entertainment, Relativity Media
Will Smith stars alongside his son, Jaden, in the 2006 film The Pursuit of Happyness. It's an emotional movie that might pull at your heartstrings as Will (playing Chris Gardner) struggles with homelessness and financial woes in pursuit of a better life for himself and his five-year-old son. While watching, you'll definitely be reminded of your father's love.
Netflix
I don't know many dads who watch reality television, but Netflix's Full Swing is one we think all should give a chance. It follows several pros on and off the golf course during the PGA Tour. Even if you're not a golf fan, there's something electric about watching these athletes battling it out for millions.

The National Football League (NFL) is the most popular sport in the United States. So, we're sure there are tons of father-son duos out there looking forward to Saturdays and Sundays in the fall. If that's you, you have to give Hard Knocks a stream. The program follows one team through training camp and the regular season. A new season, following the New York Giants, premieres on Max on July 2.
Corine Solberg/Sipa USA
This show is like Man vs. Wild but much more entertaining. There's a high level of competition, strategy, and drama, making this CBS show a must-binge with your dad.

'The Amazing Race'
Frank Micelotta/National Geographic/PictureGroup/Sipa USA
If mud and days without showers aren't your thing, switch from Survivor to The Amazing Race. There's still competition, but instead of an individual game, TAR features teams of two as they race worldwide, taking part in local, physical, and mental challenges. There has also been a father-son duo in an earlier season!

'King of Collectibles: The Goldin Touch'
Netflix
This Netflix series is another unscripted program; however, there's limited drama for those turned off by that. This show follows a group of people on the hunt for the greatest collectibles worldwide. If dudes securing coveted items, like the mummified hand of Cleopatra, sounds interesting to you, then King Of Collectibles: The Goldin Touch is the show for you.
Netflix
Netflix's Hack My Home isn't your traditional home renovation show. These families seek more space; however, they're not interested in moving and don't want to spend an arm and a leg. So, the dream team, featuring Mikel Welch, Brooks Atwood, Ati Williams, and Jessica Banks, comes in. Together, they help hack the simplest pieces of furniture, ultimately decluttering, adding more storage, and upgrading their homes for the better. Sounds like the epitome of "dad things" to us.

For dads who enjoy talking about popular culture, music, television, and film with their sons, the Geekology 101 podcast is for you. They talk about the best theme songs, Dragon Ball Z, Spider-Man, and so much more.

'Acquired Tastings'
Sarah Warnock/Special to the Clarion Ledger / USA TODAY NETWORK
Josh and his dad sit in front of the microphone on the podcast Acquired Tastings with their favorite beers, spring cocktails, and food to discuss all things adult beverages. They've dived into everything from Irish and Christmas Beers to Spanish Wines, making sure to give the listener tons of details, including smells, colors, and, of course, taste.
Pixar, Walt Disney, Disney Enterprises
This movie needs no explanation. Everybody loves Marlin and his son from Finding Nemo.

Alec Benjamin sings about finally understanding some of his father's shortcomings now that he's older. After detailing his journey throughout the verse and pre-chorus, he sings, "I hope that I am just like you."

'The Game Plan' (2007)
Walt Disney, Mayhem Pictures
Most of our fathers aren't professional athletes like The Rock in Disney's The Game Plan, but the message remains the same: family is forever.

'Cheaper by the Dozen' (2003)
20th Century Studios, Robert Simonds Productions
We don't have 11 other siblings, and truthfully, watching Cheaper by the Dozen makes us thankful for that. However, one thing we can appreciate about this movie is that Tom Baker (Steve Martin) always did everything he could to make sure his kids knew his love for them. Although it's a comedy, a few moments might cause you to tear up.

'Big Daddy' (1999)
Columbia Pictures, 9 Story USA, Jack Giarraputo Productions
The five-year-old adopted boy in Big Daddy probably learned everything a mother doesn't want their son picking up from their dad, which makes watching this 1999 film with your father much more enjoyable.

'Daddy Day Care' (2003)
Revolution Studios, Davis Entertainment, Columbua Pictures
Going to daycare where your dad is the boss sounds like a full day of all-out fun. How could you want to pass that up?
Castle Rock Entertainment, West-Shapiro Productions
Many dads love Seinfeld, so it only feels right on this list.
Netflix
Netflix's Last Chance U is one heck of a series, especially if you love football. Instead of following Division I athletes at major universities like other series, the producers spend time with promising players at junior colleges, following their journey from start to finish while telling their moving stories about homelessness, death, grief, and parenthood.

'Last Chance U: Basketball'
Netflix
And if basketball is more up your alley, Netflix has a Last Chance U series for you, too.
Wolf Entertainment, Universal Television
Something about dads and true crime content makes us feel this series would be the perfect program to watch together.
Isaiah J. Downing-USA TODAY Sports
Pick'em Pros is another podcast; however, this father-and-son duo focuses on all things sports. From the NBA to the NFL to debating the hottest players, these two go at it, but it's always a great time.
