Titus O’Neil may not have had a highly celebrated wrestling career, but the WWE Universe has always respected him for the charity work he has done throughout his career. He recently worked on a movie called Trap House with former WWE star and actor Dave Bautista . Therefore, the 47-year-old star sent a heartwarming message to the latter on social media.

The former tag team champion took to Instagram and shared multiple behind-the-scenes pictures of the cast members of the movie Trap House. Titus O’Neil thanked The Animal and other crew members for letting him be a part of the project. The movie was released last month and featured many stars like Jack Champion, Bobby Cannavale, and Sophia Lillis.

Many fellow wrestlers, including Mercedes Moné, Natalya, and R-Truth, left heartfelt messages under his post. Speaking of his WWE career, the 47-year-old veteran joined the company as part of NXT. He also won the Tag Team Championships with his partner, Darren Young.

Besides wrestling, he is also known for his charity work, collaborating with nonprofit groups in the Tampa Bay region. Titus also hosts an annual “Joy of Giving” event, in which he hands out toys to 1,000 kids. For all of his good work for society, he received the Warrior Award in the Hall of Fame Class of 2020. Additionally, to honor him, a school in Tampa was named after him.

Dave Bautista helped Titus O’Neil get signed by WWE

Before he joined WWE, Titus O’Neil played football at the University of Florida. For the next four years, he played in the Arena Football League as a professional. Upon being advised to try out in Florida Championship Wrestling by Dave Bautista, the 47-year-old star joined the developmental team in 2009.

The Warrior Award winner has mentioned in many interviews how he and Batista used to talk about wrestling. Titus admitted that wrestling wasn’t the career he was looking for, but he gave it a chance. Shortly after that, he was signed and learned how to become a WWE Superstar.

He recently appeared in WWE as a part of the commentary team at WrestleMania 39. The 47-year-old star commented on the men’s tag team showcase match on Night 1 and during the triple threat match between Gunther, Drew McIntyre, and Sheamus for the I.C. title.
