BLACKPINK Instantly Kicks Off Deadline World Tour with New Single 'Jump'

BLACKPINK is hitting the road this summer!

Ever since their debut on August 8, 2016, BLACKPINK has continuously taken the world by storm.

With numerous hits under their belt, they are the highest-charting female K-pop act on both the Billboard Hot 100 and Billboard 200 charts. Their lively new song “Jump” is their first track in three years since their 2022 album Born Pink.

The song debuted at the opening night of their Deadline World Tour on July 5, 2025, and was officially released on July 11, 2025.  “Jump” is a departure from BLACKPINK’s usual pop-focused sound, featuring elements of hardstyle, dance-pop, club music, synth-pop, European techno, and EDM.  The Dave Meyers-directed accompanying video was released alongside the song.

Produced by 24, Diplo, Boaz van de Beatz, Ape Drums, and Zecca, “Jump” was written by Diplo, Teddy, 24, Zikai, Claudia Valentina, Jesse Bluu, Jumpa, and Malachiii. The song’s lyrics revolve around the power of a night out with friends, with verses highlighting the group’s sisterhood and liberation.

“Jump” was released as part of BLACKPINK’s comeback after a period of solo activities by each member. With each member releasing solo work in recent years. The Deadline World Tour, which includes dates in North America and other regions, will continue into the beginning of 2026.
