BUGONIA Trailer: Bald Emma Stone, Twisted Conspiracies, and Mystery Bees

In the Bugonia trailer, we get insight into the life of Auxolith’s CEO Michelle Fuller (Stone), a high powered woman who seemingly has it all. She’s on the cover of Time Magazine, lives in a gorgeous home, wears Christian Louboutins to compliment her killer wardrobe, and spends her free time wearing fancy red light face masks and sparring to stay in shape.

But things soon go awry when she’s kidnapped by two conspiracy theorists, one of whom is played by Jesse Plemons, and ends up being the focus of their strange beliefs. They think that aliens are on Earth and that she’s absolutely one of them. They are trying to somehow stop her before she destroys the Earth.

She’s not having it, and says that it’s only a matter of time before investigators are knocking at their door. And we see that she’s right about that. However, there is something strange going on with at least one person in this scenario. 

She does have at least one scene where she seems a little less than human. And Plemons character Teddy certainly ends the clip with some very strange behavior. What the heck is going on here? We will all figure it out together (or become more confused) when we check out Bugonia on October 24.
