Cardi B became a main topic of discussion on the internet as soon as DJ Khaled's 12th studio album Khaled Khaled dropped at midnight Friday (April 30).
All 14 tracks feature assists from the music industry's biggest names, but fans were especially taken back by how Cardi B (born Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar) was involved. The 28-year-old rapper doubled as a flamethrower across two minutes and 41 seconds of bars on bars on bars.
And while Cardi sounds strong as ever on the track, she admitted on Twitter to being a "little nervous":
How do you guys feel about BIG PAPER ? I can’t front I was little nervous to do a song like this again cause I enjoy putting out club vibe songs https://t.co/4xllEMXEa9’s my preference but my fans been askin me for this vibe. Also what other type of vibes ya will like me to be on?

The Grammy winner had also given insight into how the single—"yes, I wrote the record!"—came together on Instagram Live just before it was released:
Cardi stated on live that she WROTE & recorded “BIG PAPER” in less than 2 days for Dj Khaled’s album!
