Country Star Zach Bryan Says He'll 'Never' Play 1 Major City

Country music star Zach Bryan claims he won't be returning to one major Midwestern city after a back-and-forth with rival football fans.

Bryan, 29, is from Oklahoma, but is a diehard fan of the Philadelphia Eagles. He actually released a new song to celebrate the team winning the NFC Championship back in January, on their way to beating the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl 59.

Speaking of the Chiefs, that brings us to the point of this post. On Friday night, Bryan took to X/Twitter to taunt Kansas City fans six months after the Eagles' title win.

"Where are all the three peat people from last year?" Bryan asked.

Not surprisingly, this triggered a slew of responses from angry Chiefs partisans, which led to Bryan apparently vowing to never play in Missouri's largest city.

"Please understand I will never play in Kansas City," the singer said. “I’ll be about to finish my show and then get a taunting call if I play at that stadium.”

Chiefs fans let Bryan have it

Not to be deterred by his apparent self-imposed ban, Chiefs fans continued to taunt Bryan in the comments section of his tweets.

"Extend that to the whole state and we would appreciate it!" one person responded.

"We don’t want you here anyways," a second person said.

"Not even a year since you did lol," a third person said, referencing Bryan's concert in KC last August 21.

"Can you make the same stand about pa and tx? We would love not to hear from you," a fourth person said.

"Awe pretty boy won’t come to kc?!" a fifth person wrote.

Bryan has five more tour dates left

While Bryan will not be playing in Kansas City this year--or maybe ever again--the Grammy-winning crooner and guitar player does have five more concert dates left in 2025.

Bryan will be at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado tonight, followed by a show in San Francisco on Friday. Then, he'll close out the month playing in Huntington, West Virginia on Aug. 30.

Finally, Bryan will take the stage at the University of Notre Dame (Sept. 6) and the University of Michigan (Sept. 27).
