Dafne Keen and Saara Chaudry cast in season 3 of 'Percy Jackson and the Olympians'

We have some exciting new casting updates for the third season of Percy Jackson and the Olympians, which is currently in production and based on Rick Riordan's The Titan's Curse.

Dafne Keen will portray the Greek goddess of the moon and the hunt, Artemis, while Saara Chaudry takes on the role of an immortal hunter, Zoë Nightshade.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Artemis "prefers the freedom of the outdoors to the politics and formality of Olympus." Additionally, "Her immortal hunters are her constant companions, and she has little contact with mortals, making her a bit out of touch with modern human culture. She is regal and an honorable fighter who will stand up to grave challenges."

Zoë Nightshade's character description shares that she is a "loyal lieutenant to Artemis and first among the immortal hunters. She has been at Artemis’ side for more than 2,000 years. She is a strong warrior and sometimes overly serious in ways that amuse the demigods, but she is also a crucial quest member, willing to strive and sacrifice for the good of all."

The series stars Walker Scobell as Percy, Leah Sava Jeffries as Annabeth, Aryan Simhadri as Grover, Charlie Bushnell as Luke, and Dior Goodjohn as Clarisse.

Season two of “Percy Jackson and the Olympians” is based on the second installment of Disney Hyperion’s best-selling book series titled “The Sea of Monsters” by award-winning author Rick Riordan. In the new season, Percy Jackson returns to Camp Half-Blood one year later to find his world turned upside down. His friendship with Annabeth is changing, he learns he has a cyclops for a brother, Grover has gone missing, and camp is under siege from the forces of Kronos. Percy’s journey to set things right will take him off the map and into the deadly Sea of Monsters, where a secret fate awaits the son of Poseidon.

The upcoming season will premiere on December 10 and welcome Daniel Diemer as Tyson, Levi Chrisopulos as Nico di Angelo, and Olive Abercrombie as Bianca di Angelo.
