The “Bred” Air Jordan gained its reputation for being a “banned” basketball shoe. However, the story behind it was more of a guinea marketing move from Nike rather than any bothering or creepy reason for it being banned.

When Michael Jordan debuted the shoes in 1984, the NBA fined him $5,000 each time he wore them because their colors violated the league’s uniform rules.
