Jeff Bridges returns as 'The Dude' from 'The Big Lebowski' to tell everyone to chill out

Bridges appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live to promote his new movie Tron: Ares. During their talk they also discussed how important playing The Dude was to Bridges’ career. Kimmel also noted just how much the actor really is like his beloved character. At the end of their interview we then got to see just how easy it is for Bridges to slip back into the role. With his signature Lebowski cardigan, sunglasses, and a “caucasian,” Bridges offered some advice to the entire world.

After telling us we all need to be a lot more calm, he shared what that might look like.

I’m talking about all the wars, the fighting, the cancelling. I mean, let’s just chill out, man. Come on, tone it down. You know? We’re at, what? Like a nine? We oughta be at zero. Or zero-and-a-half, at max.

When he then turned to Guillermo for support, we got to see Kimmel’s lovable security guard was doing his own Dude cosplay complete with a White Russian. But The Dude was not done yet. He took aim at the organization that most needs to calm the f--- down.

And, uh, ICE? Let’s get ICE off our streets and into our beverages. This aggression will not stand, huh? Right? So, let’s just abide. Abide together. Yes, we can do this. Now, that’s just like my opinion. But it’s a good one.
