MAGIC: THE GATHERING Debuts SPIDER-MAN Set at PAX West

Wizards of the Coast made their way to PAX West for a special panel to dive into Magic: The Gathering | Marvel’s Spider-Man set. Our friendly neighborhood hero and his friends and enemies are swinging to a tabletop near you with lots of sleek card designs that will delight Marvel fans. The PAX panel revealed several new cards from the Magic: The Gathering and Spider-Man collaboration, exclusive details, and much more. And here’s a brief summary of all the big revelations from Wizards of the Coast’s PAX West panel for Magic: The Gathering | Marvel’s Spider-Man

  • An exclusive look at the Villains in the set including Venom, Green Goblin, Dr. Octavius and the Sinister Six 
  • Showcase Scene cards, which combine to form a stunning scene that looks like it came straight out of a comic book 
  • Art from iconic Spider-Man comic source material by artists such as Jack Kirby, Todd McFarlane, John Romita Sr., Mike Zeck & Bob Mcleod and more featured on cards inspired by iconic characters 
  • The Infinity Stones are coming to Magic: The Gathering. Fans can find one of these, The Soul Stone, in Magic: The Gathering | Marvel’s Spider-Man. There are three versions of the card that appear in the set 
  • New mechanics and ways to play such as Pick-Two Draft 
  • Borderless costume change cards
