'My Life With the Walter Boys' trailer: Nikki Rodriguez, Noah LaLonde, and Ashby Gentry have to follow their hearts

It's officially My Life With the Walter Boys month, and with the second season quickly approaching, Netflix just got fans even more hyped with a brand new trailer.

Nikki Rodriguez, Noah LaLonde, Ashby Gentry, Sarah Rafferty, Marc Blucas, Connor Stanhope, Johnny Link, Corey Fogelmanis, Jaylan Evans, Zoë Soul, Isaac Arellanes, Myles Perez, Alex Quijano, Ashley Tavares, Dean Petriw, Alix West Lefler, Lennix James, Alisha Newton, Ellie O’Brien, Kolton Stewart, Mya Lowe, Gabrielle Jacinto, Jesse Lipscombe, and Nathaniel Arcand are all back for the upcoming season, while Natalie Sharp, Carson MacCormac, Janet Kidder, Riele Downs, and Jake Manley join the cast.

After leaving Silver Falls following Alex’s (Gentry) love confession and her kiss with Cole (LaLonde), Jackie Howard spent the summer in New York City. When Katherine convinces her to return to Colorado, Jackie (Rodriguez) is determined to make amends with Alex and set boundaries with Cole while finding her place within the Walter family. But fitting back in isn’t that easy. Alex – who changed a lot over the summer – isn’t too thrilled about Jackie’s attempts to reconnect, as he’s focused on training for a risky rodeo event (and enjoying all of the new attention he’s getting). Meanwhile, Cole takes on a new role at school, but when that doesn’t quite fill the void left by not playing football, his old ways creep back in and cause drama. As Jackie gains acceptance in Silver Falls while trying to hold onto her Howard identity, she’s forced to make a choice that could destroy everything she’s worked to rebuild.

Showrunner Melanie Halsall also serves as an executive producer along with Ed Glauser and Becky Hartman Edwards.

"Jackie’s trying to figure out where she belongs. She definitely doesn’t want to lose either side of herself and tries to make sure that they could coexist," Rodriguez told TUDUM. Gentry continued to explain, "Jackie, Alex, and Cole are figuring out who they are and what they want by allowing themselves to change."

Season 2 of My Life With The Walter Boys drops on Thursday, August 28. The show, which is based on Ali Novak's novel, has already been renewed for a third season.
