Rosie O’Donnell has found her recent weight loss “completely shocking”.

The 62-year-old comic and actress, who suffers from diabetes, made the admission while updating fans on her recent move to Ireland – in protest at the Donald Trump administration – and the significant changes she’s made to her lifestyle.

She told fans in a TikTok video: “I’ve lost more weight. I am on Mounjaro for my diabetes and one of the side effects is you lose weight.”

Mounjaro, the brand name for tirzepatide, is an FDA-approved prescription drug used to treat type 2 diabetes.

It has also been found to be highly effective for weight loss by reducing appetite and improving how the body processes sugar and fat.

Similar drugs, such as Ozempic and Wegovy – both brand names for semaglutide – have gained popularity in Hollywood for their weight-loss effects.

Rosie added her lifestyle had changed significantly since relocating to Ireland with her 12-year-old child, Clay.

She said: “I had a chef for over two years in Los Angeles and I don’t have a chef now. It’s me cooking for Clay and me.”

Rosie added she had recently gone shopping in Dublin to buy clothes, which she found “fit better” after losing weight.

She said: “I’m one of those people who always had a weight issue, and now that I’m a size large – instead of an XL or a XXL – I find it shocking.

“I really do. I find it completely shocking.”

Recalling a recent shopping trip, Rosie said a store clerk asked for her size, and she replied: “I don’t really know anymore.”

After trying on a pair of trousers without an elastic waistband for the first time in “a very long time”, she admitted she was surprised by the result.

She added: “They brought in some pants and I didn’t look at the size. I put them on, and as we were leaving, they said what the size would be comparable to in America, and I didn’t really believe them.”

Rosie previously updated fans on her health in January 2023, saying in an Instagram video she had lost 10lbs since Christmas.

In a follow-up video, she responded to a fan who asked about her weight loss, explaining: “About two months ago my doctor put me on – not Ozempic – Mounjaro, and Repatha.

“One I do every other week and one I do once a week.”

Rosie said she had also cut back on sugar and alcohol, only drinking water since Christmas apart from a champagne toast.

Steelers reporter shares big claim about how Aaron Rodgers has looked in training camp

Quarterback Aaron Rodgers spent the bulk of the spring as an unsigned free agent and, thus, only began officially practicing with Pittsburgh Steelers teammates during the team's three-day mandatory minicamp in June. During a Monday appearance on Pittsburgh radio station 102.5 WDVE, Steelers reporter Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette addressed how Rodgers looked during his first few training camp practices with the club. "His release is just astonishing to watch," Dulac said about Rodgers, as shared by Ross McCorkle of Steelers Depot. "Everybody knows about it, and when you see it in person, you see it every day in practice, you just marvel at it. To me, he's the greatest thrower of the football I have ever seen, even at 41 (years old). That flick of that wrist and that ball comes out, it's moving and it is something to see." Rodgers was with the New York Jets when he suffered a torn Achilles four offensive snaps into the 2023 regular-season opener. He was then slowed by a nagging hip issue, injuries to both his knees, a low ankle sprain and a serious hamstring problem as the 2024 Jets went 5-12. According to Pro Football Reference, Rodgers finished last season ranked 28th in the NFL among qualified players with a 48.0 adjusted QBR and 26th with a 43.9 percent passing success rate. That said, he was also eighth with 3,897 passing yards and tied for seventh with 28 passing touchdowns. Rodgers and Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson endured some struggles during training camp sessions last summer before the two allegedly "never saw eye-to-eye" during the season. It sounds like Pittsburgh fans should be encouraged by how Rodgers performed in recent practices. "That guy can get rid of the ball as quick as anybody," Dulac added. "He made three throws in seven-on-seven (drills) the other day that the cumulative total I bet couldn't have exceeded 2.1 seconds. And two of those were for touchdowns." Rodgers wants to finish his career "the right way" and help the Steelers notch at least their first playoff win since January 2017. As of Monday morning, DraftKings Sportsbook had Pittsburgh at -150 betting odds to miss the playoffs for the upcoming season.

Kirk Cousins makes notable leadership move after Falcons practice

Kirk Cousins might be relegated to the job of backup quarterback, but he is showing veteran leadership to his Atlanta Falcons teammates. Following Sunday's practice, Cousins pulled aside rookie defensive end James Pearce to encourage the first-round pick after his fourth practice in the league at Flowery Branch, Georgia. "QB Kirk Cousins pulled aside Pearce after practice to compliment him on a pass batted down," wrote Marc Raimondi of ESPN. Cousins reportedly had a solid day of practice on Sunday, going 7-of-12 passing against the first-team unit. If Cousins wants out of Atlanta, he's not showing it at practice. The four-time Pro Bowl quarterback is competing on the field and being a good teammate around the facility. Cousins' actions on the field backed up what Falcons general manager Terry Fontenot praised Cousins for before the team's practice on Sunday. “Outside, it's a lot more of a deal than it is in the building,” Fontenot said to the media about the idea of friction between the Falcons and Cousins, per video from D. Orlando Ledbetter of the Atlanta Journal Constitution. “He shows up, he does his job, just like anybody ... We've gotta build the best 70-man roster so we can go win games. "That's what we're focused on, and Kirk, just like all the other players, is focused on coming in here and doing their job. That's what he's been doing." Fontenot didn't dismiss the idea that Atlanta would trade Cousins before the season. He said the Falcons will do whatever it takes to make the team better, but stressed that Cousins has been a professional throughout the process of being replaced by Michael Penix Jr., a first-round pick from the 2024 draft. “In terms of making moves, whether it's trades or acquiring players, we're always looking at those factors," Fontenot said. "We're gonna do whatever we can do to make this team the best it can possibly be. But he's been a great professional, and he's handled himself well.” Cousins is coming to work in a manner that will make another owner want to take a chance on the veteran quarterback. That could be one of his best-selling points before he plays in his 13th season in the league.

Guardians executive opens up about Emmanuel Clase investigation, what comes next

CLEVELAND — Emmanuel Clase is officially off the trading block, and not for the reasons the Cleveland Guardians might have hoped. After Clase was placed on non-disciplinary paid leave as part of MLB’s sports-betting investigation on Monday, Guardians president of baseball operations Chris Antonetti acknowledged that the high-profile closer wouldn't be a part of any trades before the upcoming MLB trade deadline later this week. "No," Antonetti responded to reporters on Monday afternoon when asked if Clase would potentially be traded. It's a blow to the Guardians, who likely could have received a loaded return had they chosen to move the 27-year-old right-hander. However, with MLB's investigation underway, Clase is now on leave until Aug. 31. It is Major League Baseball's second look at the franchise in terms of potential sports betting following Luis Ortiz being placed on the same kind of leave earlier in July. That means Cleveland is down two relievers, including Clase and his 24 saves posted so far this season. "I think what's important is that we understand what the reality is and figure out how do we move forward from here," Antonetti said. "That's really the focus. "Both guys won't be available to us in the near term, and we need to figure out a way to overcome that. It's not too dissimilar to the moment when players are injured and they're not available to us. We have to find the next group to step up and shoulder a load and find a way to win games. That's really what we're focused on." Antonetti also told reporters that the two relievers will be the last Cleveland players investigated for this type of potential infringement. "We've been informed by Major League Baseball. They were very clear to let us know that they don't expect any other players or staff members," Antonetti said. While Clase may not be off the trading list, Antonetti told reporters it was still very "active" in terms of other teams reaching out to the Guardians around the 6 p.m. (Eastern) Thursday trade deadline. "We're in constant dialogue with a lot of teams," Antonetti said. "We had a lot of dialogue up through this morning and certainly had dialogue over the last few hours. My expectation is that it will continue over the next few days." Antonetti didn't offer a timeline in terms of when Cleveland might hear official rulings from MLB on the investigations. "What I know is that the suspensions are in place through August 31 and then we'll have to see where things are happening," Antonetti said. "Obviously, for everyone, I think you'd prefer to have the clarity sooner rather than later. But I recognize it's a complicated issue and usually baseball has a number of steps they need to work through to complete that investigation." CBS Sports names Jaxson Dart as NY Giants' Biggest Reason for Hope

Few teams reshuffled their roster more than the New York Giants did this offseason. That can happen when seats are warm, ownership is displeased, and external chatter is relentless. Coaching and scheme design will be essential, but this squad appears to be deeper and more versatile. The makings of a competitive squad are evident, leaving many fans genuinely hopeful for the new campaign. However, Tyler Sullivan of CBS Sports believes the biggest cause for optimism comes in the form of a player who will not even begin the season on the field. "As exciting as Abdul Carter and his injection along a defensive line that already consists of Brian Burns and Dexter Lawrence is, what gives New York Giants fans hope is Jaxson Dart," he writes. "Of course, it's a question as to when we'll actually see Dart with Russell Wilson, likely the Week 1 starter, but he provides hope for a brighter tomorrow and heads to New York with a ton of raw skill." Sullivan alludes to something that everyone knows: the quarterback is king in this league. Yes, teams have won Super Bowls without their signal-caller posting huge numbers, but competency under center is vital. The anguish Giants fans have suffered over the last several years is proof of that. This franchise has stumbled in the absence of a reliable quarterback. There have been a myriad of other problems on both sides of the ball, in the front office and on the sidelines during the last decade-plus, but an effective offensive centerpiece could have probably made at least some difference. It is pointless to lament the past. Dart is allowing the team and fan base to look into the future. Now, he must work hard to ensure that he can validate that optimism and decisively change the trajectory of Big Blue football. Can he do it? Although there are questions about Dart's pocket presence, touch, and ability to adapt to an NFL offense, he has the physical talents and collegiate experience to warrant a fair amount of enthusiasm. The NY Giants trust Jaxson Dart to turn this franchise around The Giants certainly believe in him, as demonstrated by the organization's decision to pull off a trade with the Houston Texans to move back into the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft. The No. 25 overall pick particularly impressed head coach Brian Daboll with his preparedness and leadership skills. He also put up pretty good numbers at Ole Miss. Jaxson Dart posted a fantastic 69.3 completion percentage and threw for 4,279 yards last season, which ranked third in the country. The First-Team All-SEC selection recorded 29 passing touchdowns to just six interceptions and totaled 495 rushing yards. While there is no guarantee the 22-year-old's balanced attack will carry over into the NFL, he has the tools and seemingly the right mentality to enjoy a memorable run with the Giants. And that is enough to imbue the Meadowlands with color during training camp and throughout the 2025-26 season. Whether or not Dart leaps over veterans Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston on the depth chart will depend on multiple factors, with the most important one being his development. Still, New York has at least put together a worthwhile plan. Now, we wait to see how it all shakes out. What happens next with the NY Giants? Find out! Follow and like us on Facebook.
