Julie Davis is enduring a mother’s worst nightmare, living in agonizing uncertainty about the fate of her son, a rugby player Levi Davis, who vanished in Barcelona in October 2022.

Levi was last seen leaving a pub, and his final communication was a request for money for a hotel. He spoke with her mother to inform her he was out of money and needed some.

Julie had kept him home for ignoring her advice not to travel without saving enough for the journey, and when she tried to reach him next, there was silence.

Despite initial searches and the discovery of his passport, numerous questions remain unanswered, leaving Julie to believe that the Spanish police's conclusion that he drowned is uncalled for.

After a bad knee injury that threatened his rugby career, Levi had desired to switch from rugby to music and travel Europe after his anterior cruciate ligament tear.

Spanish authorities initiated a search but later abandoned it when one was reported missing; they concluded it was Levi in the boat and that he had drowned.

Julie is now seeking legal assistance to push for further investigation as she feels abandoned by the authorities.
