Spider-Man Actor Tom Holland Promotes Strange Product on Instagram

Tom Holland has put his name behind an unexpected product.

Marvel’s current Spider-Man posted a video on Instagram of him enjoying a sip of his beverage, an alcohol-free beer called Bero.

"Something's brewing..." he captioned on an image of himself drinking from a branded Bero glass while standing in a kitchen. There's also an image of the torso of a young lady holding a tennis racquet, which draws similarities to his girlfriend's Zendaya's role in Challengers.

The beverage, presumably named Bero because it’s zero-alcohol beer, is set to be available from 16 October. On the official website, Bero advertises itself as a ‘premium non-alcoholic beer created by Tom Holland.’

So, what’s motivated the venture? The actor gave up drinking alcohol in early 2022, and has admitted an unhealthy relationship with it in the past. After stopping drinking for Dry January, he noticed a wealth of lifestyle improvements.

"I could sleep better. I could handle problems better, things that would go wrong on set, that would normally set me off, I could take in my stride,” Holland told Jay Shetty's podcast in July 2023. “I had so much, such better mental clarity. I felt healthier, I felt fitter.”
