Taylor Swift’s “Eras Tour” may be over, but fans will soon be able to relive it on Disney+. The pop superstar announced on Monday that fans would be able to watch a film of the final show of the tour in its entirety. She also announced that the streaming network would carry a docuseries of the record-breaking tour. Here are all the details.
On December 12, Disney+ will air the final show of the “Eras Tour” in its entirety. Titled “The Eras Tour | The Final Show,” the full concert film chronicles the tour’s final stop in Vancouver from beginning to end, including Swift’s full “Tortured Poets Department” set. Here is the announcement from the singer’s X (Twitter) account.
It was the End of an Era and we knew it. We wanted to remember every moment leading up to the culmination of the most important and intense chapter of our lives, so we allowed filmmakers to capture this tour and all the stories woven throughout it as it wound down. And to film… pic.twitter.com/RGZ6zVQnjb

Also on December 12, Disney+ will air the first two parts of the six-part docuseries “Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The End of an Era.” Filmmakers traveled with the tour as it wound down to capture all the special behind-the-scenes stories woven throughout the massive undertaking. The series will feature never-before-seen footage of performers, friends, and family members, including Sabrina Carpenter, Ed Sheeran, Florence Welch, and Gracie Adams. After the series debuts on the 12th, two more episodes will be released weekly.
This is not Swift‘s first foray into film. The award-winning pop singer released her new album, recorded during the “Eras Tour,” on October 3. The album, “The Life of a Showgirl,” sold over two million copies on its release day. Boosting those sales was the theatrical release of Swift’s film “The Official Release Party of a Showgirl.” The movie was a collection of interviews, behind-the-scenes footage, lyric videos, personal commentary, and the premiere of the music video for the album’s first single, “The Fate of Ophelia.” The limited-engagement release grossed over $50 million that weekend.
