On top of that, a slew of pricey advertisements that, in all honesty, seemed a bit underwhelming compared to years past. There were quite a few AI-centric commercials this year, if that says anything about the day and age we live in. This year’s batch might not have been extraordinary, but there were some standouts that fit right along with our nerdy slant. Here are the best nerdy Super Bowl commercials of 2026.
Keegan-Michael Key and Danny McBride are awful insurance agents in State Farm’s Super Bowl spot. The comedy duo parodies Jon Bon Jovi to convince actress Hailee Steinfeld that she should’ve gone with State Farm. Oh yeah, and female pop group Katseye is there, too.
Launching a massive year-long campaign, Pokémon is asking, “What’s your favorite? ” Lady Gaga, Trevor Noah, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, and a slew of other famous faces join Pokémon to celebrate 30 years.

While this year’s lineup of Super Bowl commercials wasn’t as glamerous as we had hoped, there were still some enjoyable ads. I think the idea of releasing Super Bowl ads BEFORE the actual Super Bowl is what’s to blame. Anyway, that’s our list. Did we miss anything? Here’s to next year’s bunch.
