'The Paper' to release all episodes at once on Peacock

Surprise! All ten episodes of The Paper will now drop on September 4 rather than sticking to the originally planned weekly schedule.

The documentary crew that immortalized Dunder Mifflin’s Scranton branch in the Emmy Award-winning series “The Office” find a new subject when they discover a historic Midwestern newspaper and the publisher trying to revive it.

Oscar Nuñez reprises his The Office role as Oscar Martinez alongside a new ensemble, including Domhnall Gleeson, Sabrina Impacciatore, Chelsea Frei, Melvin Gregg, Gbemisola Ikumelo, Alex Edelman, Ramona Young, and Tim Key.

Recently, Creed Bratton shared his support for the spin-off, telling Parade, "Oh, of course [I will be tuning in]! Absolutely! Domnhall Gleason – I mean, Ex Machina, it’s one of my absolute favorite sci-fi movies. It was way ahead of its time with all the A.I., robotic things. It kind of eerily rings true nowadays."

As for whether he would be making a cameo, the actor commented, "No, not that I know of, but of course I would’ve loved to do it. I got to go on [Greg Daniels’] Download. I got to play a guy whose head was blown off."

Brian Baumgartner, who played Kevin Malone, is also "really excited to watch it," expressing to The Post, "I really haven’t seen much, but I thought that the trailer was really well done, really engaging, very, very, very ‘Office looking."

He's open to appearing, mentioning, "I would certainly do whatever [Daniels] thinks is a good idea."

Greg Daniels, under his banner Deedle-Dee Productions, and Michael Koman serve as co-creators, co-showrunners, and executive producers. Additional executive producers include Ricky Gervais, Stephen Merchant, Howard Klein, Ben Silverman, and Banijay Americas. Daniels also directs the first episode.
