Alex Albon shares a unique message for Carlos Sainz who is set to miss Saudi Arabian GP due to appendicitis

After arriving in Jeddah, Sainz participated in practice rounds, but ahead of qualifying he started feeling unwell. After a few hours, the news came out that the Spaniard had appendicitis and required surgery. While everyone is wishing him to get better soon, Alex Albon had his unique way to do the same. The Williams driver went on to X and posted the following,

Get well soon @Carlossainz55, I know a good surgeon if you need

With no contract for next year, this season is immensely crucial for the Spaniard. The recent incident only cost him more, when it comes to making progress. Sainz is currently eyed by many teams for the next season. Hopefully, he will recover soon from the surgery and start feeling better.

Carlos Sainz Jr. has been replaced for the upcoming Saudi Arabian GP.

Carlos Sainz Jr. was diagnosed with appendicitis ahead of the Saudi Arabian GP, forcing him to step away from racing this weekend. Before that, Sainz had participated in the practice rounds. With Sainz being out of the picture Ferrari needed the second driver for the weekend.

For the upcoming race weekend, Ferrari has chosen their reserved driver Oliver Berman. The young Brit will be taking Sainz’s place in the race, and hence won’t be racing in F2 for the rest of the weekend.

The 18-year-old made his F1 (FP1) debut with Haas in 2023. He is currently a reserve driver for Ferrari and Haas. In Saudi Arabia, he started the qualifying round on pole. Berman will be making his F1 debut as the youngest Ferrari driver, and the third youngest to race in the sport.
